BEST STORY EVER:
This is definetly the best thing thats happened to me ever since I started at Law. My "seat" in my Global class is next to the window. I say "seat" because I've never actually sat in a chair at a desk in that class unless there was a class discussion. My seat is the windowsill actually. And I'm still blown away by the sunlight pouring in, and the view, and sometimes the fresh air, when the window's open. So today the windows open and I'm sitting in the windowsill, and now...Law has these lawns outside that are like courtyards in that you can see the other side of the building through the widows, but it's not closed in. (For all intents and purposes of the story, I refer to it as "courtyard") And I'm sitting there drinking my bottle of Cherry Coke (we had a sub today) and all of a sudden I hear a voice that sounds like someone yelling from a distance, "Hey! What are you drinking?" And I'm looking around like, "wtf??" *looks around*
Voice: Up here!
I look up and theres this guy in a window across the courtyard on the second floor waving his hands out the partially open window, but I couldn't see his face cuz of the way the window on the other side was set up.
Guy: Hi!! *waves*
Me: *after being slightly shocked* *waves*
Guy #2 (yeah there were four hands hanging out the window, so I'm just gonna assume there were 2 of them. Pretty safe assumtion, right? lol) : Can you see us? (They must've noticed my squinting up at their window)
Me: *yelling out the window* No!
Guy #1 asks again: Is that pepsi?
Me: *still yelling so they can hear* No, it's Coke!
Guy #2: What year are you?
Me: What?
Guy # 1 : *repeats the question*
Me: Senior!
Guy: What?
Me: I'm a senior!
Guy: What's your name?
Me: Carrie! Who are--
...and then this kid in my class, leroy or elroy...or something yells at me, "Stop yelling out the window!!"
Me: But they're talking to me! :c (and I was very excited that people were talking to me. Even if I had no idea who they were and couldnt see them from a floor down and across the courtyard out the window)
Ms. Sub Teacher Lady: ...ok....why don't you sit in a seat? *closes window* Don't you have work to do?
Me:...*nod*
Ms. Sub Lady: Well, take it out, everyone else is doing school related things (playing hangman on the board and blasting music on the computer...hah)
Me: *looks out window* :'C

But it was SO COOL! So I went up to Jen, told her the story and said, "So...do you people here do that often?"
Jen: "Oh. Yeah. This is Law"

...So apparently it happens often there holding conversations out the window from a distance. And upon telling other stories I heard stories of, "people throwing things out the second floor window, going downstairs and out a window to get it, and going back to class" "playing tag from across the yard" and "climbing out the window, going around to the front entrance and going back to class" ...the windows have no screens, so you can pretty much leave class through a window. Depends on how much trouble you want to get into though. lol Plus, the thing that amazed me most about what happened was it was SO against my character to yell out a window to talk to people, but I think I was so excited that people were trying to talk to me (in an albeit odd manner) I lost my sense of shyness. which is good 8D

...Well that was completely pointless but I hope you enjoyed that story as much as I enjoyed it's occurence.
